The implosion of the Capitals doesn’t look so shocking now. If it wasn’t for Gonchar and the 2nd & 3rd line scoring, this series would be over now. Malkin & Crosby have been all but shut down. I had to laugh on NHL.com when the side headline was “Crosby Busts Out Of Scoring Slump”. Bust Out? One goal does not mean he’s busted out. If these two don’t show up on Wed. it’s over. On the bright side, we might see another Bruins-Habs final. THAT would make for great TV viewing.
