Those with a dvr should watch the play in slo-mo. Franzen's stick was by Seto's calve and had nothing to do with him flying backwards. He probably felt the stick and proceded to act like he was hit by a 100mph wind gust. His out of control flailing caused him to high stick Franzen and Seto should have served 4mins in the box. The sharks did deserve to win after Detroit's 1st period collapse, however, how anyone can take Seto the diver serious is beyond me. Congrats Seto, now your on the same diving team with people such as Crosby.

Watch the Franzen replay and slow it down. You can see that Set's stick was well on its way to Franzens face before the trip.
The "high stick" penalty on Fil? He didn't even hit Seto in the face. It should've been a slashing penalty.
Get over it? No. NHL refereeing has become horrendous and it is detrimental to the very sport itself. Calls are inconsistently made and consistently missed. Those who might have a slight interest in becoming fans or becoming bigger fans of hockey are being turned off. The NHL wants to increase their fanbase but the only ones slowing that down is the NHL itself.
Even old time referees have complained about the current state of NHL refereeing. Those who think it's ok must not be very avid hockey fans.

Folks, watch the replay. Seto didn't even get his in the face.
Calls go back and forth. Wings didn't get the breaks Thursday, but they'll probably get them a few other games in this series. Everything evens out of over time, and the team that plays best on special teams probably wins the series.

Oh please Babcock. Any one of your players that would take a stick in the face would go down like that too.
A lot of times a ref doesn't see a high stick so the players embellish it a bit. It happens.
And for the last time: Franzen was clipped because he took out Setoguchi's skates from under him. Get over it.
