The curfew in San Jose is not news. The Dallas Stars got caught by it back in December. They had a game on Dec 11th that went 11 rounds in the shootout and then the team had to be in LA for the second game of a back-to-back the following day. If I recall, they missed curfew by about 15 minutes, but I don't remember hearing anything about a fine. San Jose, who also had to travel that night after the marathon to get to Phoenix for the second game of their back-to-back, presumably used one of their "get out of curfew free" passes.
