		<description><![CDATA[As a Wings fan who&#039;s seen every game this year, I wholeheartedly agree. Lidstrom is not quite the dynamic player he was five years ago, but he compensates nicely with an insane hockey IQ. He is still the best defenseman on one of the top teams in the NHL. Wings fans can live with that kind of slippage.
I honestly believe Lidstrom can play at his current level for another three years. And I believe he can be a plus defender and 30-point guy until he&#039;s 45. His style of game will allow him to play for nearly as long as he wants.
