We’re going to try to represent all 30 NHL teams with this “Source of Frustration” series, so it’s understandable if you miss a few here and there. If the Carolina Hurricane’s blogger doesn’t choose Joni Pitkanen then he or she is insane. He’s great on the powerplay, but his offense-first attitude is constantly giving the opposing team golden scoring opportunities (Case in point, he has 46 points yet is a -11, worse than any other defenseman -and most forwards- on the team) and he takes some of the stupidest penalties.

How about being Frustrated with Ed Snider, Peter Lukko and whomever assumes the GM role this year ( I know its Homer)….Every season our issue is GOALTENDING, (Since the Hextall Era)!!!! and every year they patchwork the position with someone based on stats they had several years ago!!! Emery did good in Russia!!!! but then again so is Robert Esche (27-9)…..Minor league at best…..with a bunch of 40 something x-nhl’ers!!! How about we spend the money of a goalie!!! How about we trade a promising rookie defenseman and a 20+ goal scorer and a Decent Draft Pick for a goalie (OOPS!!! we got father time Pronger instead) !!! Who BTW probablly stops more pucks then Brian “Douche” has all season!!! Well Paul, Ed -n- Peter!!! We got what we paid for…..Leftovers!!
