The Kings beat the Canucks so badly last night that people were making comparisons (jokingly, at least I think) to Patrick Roy’s disastrous final performance as a member of the Montreal Canadiens. Los Angeles pounded Vancouver 8-3 at Staples Center on the strength of a team effort, but captain Dustin Brown stood out with a hat trick. These are trying times for gold medal winning goalie Roberto Luongo.
