It’s time to dump and chase the Sutters. The million dollar babies in the big leagues (and their fans) need to be handled with more finesse. Back to the minors where you had some limited success.

well i have to agree with all the tabloids “fire the sutter clan”
even take his under acheivement son with them, what a crap of BS
when you trade players from another losing team what do you expect, toronto is laughing with there players they got.
I also agree with the comentator on TSN who said the sutters were never stars in the NHL, there was just seven brothers who made the pro league by name. we don’t need steveie in calgary, all we need is some one like hitchcock or give ted a chance in calgary, we spent way to much money on no names you can include the sutters.

I live in Calgary and I totally agree. Back in October the Calgary Sun, in their 60 page NHL Preview, had the Flames as serious Cup contenders and claimed they had the best group defensemen in the NHL. I kept the pullout – the title of which is “Title shot.” The subtitle is “Flames bulk up for Cup run with addition of Brent Sutter and Jay Bouwmeester.” Unfortunately GM Darryl parlayed the near God status he earned from the 2004 Cup Final appearance, but look at the record since.
