You can talk about Edmonton&#039;s 1st round picks all you want, but you conveniently ignore the fact that the fanbase was ready to burn down HSBC Arena after the losses of Briere and Drury. For the sake of everything that was holy, they had to match the damn offer sheet.
Is he overpaid? Yes.
Did he deserve that contract? No.
But the Sabres HAD TO match it. There&#039;s no other way around it.]]></description>
