That is the silliest thing I have ever heard. Of course anabolic steroids will help a hockey player. For power and short anaerobic bursts of speed. For bulking up and having power to hit or lift weights…anything to do with power.
Ovechkin’s face shows signs of possible steroid use. I have been saying this for two years. Look at his lower jaw, it protrudes, like Michael Phelps and like other athletes. The larger forehead is another indicator of usage.
These things do not guarantee steroid use, nor do allegations of usage, by a busted steroid dealer nor a busted medical doctor who is connected to the dealer and treats Capitals players.
Yes you need to build a case to prove it. But Barry Bonds and Lance Armstrong have not been caught, but it is common knowledge that Bonds was a complete monkey – his dealer, Victor Conte even had notes on it. Lance may not have taken EPO or any performance drugs, but Marion Jones was innocent until both of her ex lovers and Victor Conte who named her were all busted.

Will, all Bob Kersting did was point out that steroids WOULD be beneficial. He never said that any Caps were guilty. Yet you need to call him a lunatic? Really? Is that a bit of nervousness showing on your part?

Of course NHL players take steroids. Their testing policy is a joke. To the guy who said that steroids hamper a hockey player unlike a baseball player is a truely ignorant fool. Steroids help a lot!!! I guarantee Ovechkin takes steroids. Steroids are part of the Eastern European sporting culture. Until the NHL takes a serious look at WADA testing procedures, steroids will be a major part of the NHL.

Ted Leonsis and George Mcphee run a first class organization and because a few players visited this guy in Ballston which is a minute from Kettler…He puts a sign on his door and claims he is the chiropractor of the Capitals…lunatic

Caps had a lot of players in the Olympics this year and they wer tested there. i doubt there will be any bomb shells coming from this.

I was speaking a bit off the cuff on Twitter, first of all.
And yes, there is a possibility the he was speaking the truth. A year ago, no one believed him and now here’s a chiropractor with direct ties to the team getting arrested for buying steroids from Thomas. That’s one heck of a coincidence.

Is there? Or is that merely conjecture? Don’t jump to conclusions before more info comes out. Just like how you said on Twitter that the Caps’ practice facility was “raided.” Maybe the guys are Penguins fans, who knows.
