I’ve been told several times lately that fandom and objectivity are counter to each other and to “get over” homerism. BS! I love my team and my players, but I unapologetically call them out when they cross the line. Maybe we wouldn’t be in such a mess if more people held their teams and players accountable. Nothing a pro athlete needs more than a legion of “you can do no wrong in my eyes” butt kissers to skew their sense of reality even more.
