There already was plenty of space when these teams were playing 5-on-5 but things really heated up when both teams had a man in the box. Both David Steckel and Joe Corvo were lured out of position, allowing Niklas Hjalmarsson to feed Jonathan Toews for a nice one-timer goal. Another quick start for the Blackhawks.
