I really love what you post here, very refreshing and intelligent. One issue though, I’m running Firefox on Fedora and some of your site structure are a little misaligned. I realize it’s not a popular setup, but it is still something to to keep in mind. Just giving you a heads up.

I think beyond what McMike said there’s also that he seems to play a game that doesn’t center around the money (though I do realize this is a job for him), he really plays for his team. I never have a doubt for him to fight tooth and nail to protect his guys. Having said that I don’t think his stats are bad and he still makes things happen while he’s out there. And it’s really hard to put a price on heart. With Mighty Mo in his last years, if not his very last year, Dallas needs an icon and there are no shortage of Otter jerseys in the stands.

Thanks $DEITY if this is true. Steve is a vital part of this team. I know there’s controversy about Morrow “holding back” to stay healthy for the Olympics, but Steve has shown time and time again that he’s the heart and soul of this team. Morrow will have to earn trust back from the fans, but Steve has never, EVER lost it.
Otter may not have the best hand, eyes or feet, but his is a true warrior, and very deserving of remaining a Dallas Star!
